Sealed Sentiment

I run to you, as if it is the first time;

you kiss me like it’s the last.

Tenderness blossoms

like Spring flowers,

each petal glistening;

constellations clamoring to shine

like this sun setting

in the shimmer of your eyes.

My hand, sheltered in yours,

fingertips tracing sentiment,

finding curved lips where tears once fell;

heart enveloped in the soft caress

of your adoration.

I keep you, beautiful, on my mind;

your smile, our laughter;

this perfect love, remembered

like folded love letters

in a red ribboned box.
