Lost and Found

Some days,
I feel lost as a flower,
floating downstream,
petals brushing jagged rock,
stem, hanging by a thread,

like me.
some days,

Flashback to seven years old,
plucking daisy petals
on grandma’s back porch;

he loves me,
he loves me not,

he loves me….

She wore that blue checkered dress
and yellow apron with paisleys.
I miss her even more,
some days.
