Though years of valleys;
paths trodden
by others before me,
there was always this light
in the distance
dimmed by circumstance,
in my blind-eyed wandering.
Lost, I searched aimlessly
to fill a void, to mend hearts
broken through adversity,
running through fields
hoping to flower; to flourish
without being fed,
until I surrendered,
let light fill every crevice
growing brighter
the closer you came
finding solace in your grace,
for when I am weakest,
I am strong.

Day 1
I am writing a poem a day from November 26, 2020 through December 25, 2020 to celebrate the birth of Jesus. This is my 5th year of doing this series and I feel so blessed!❤️
